Events that Give Back Feel Good and are Good Business!

Great events are even better when they leave a legacy beyond that last dance. More and more both social and corporate event clients are wanting to incorporate a philanthropic element into their events. Meantime, event vendors are getting more and more requests to donate their goods and services for nonprofit events. Learn some unique ideas for your clients and how to partner with nonprofits for the best ROI.

Rachel Peniche is President of Plan It San Diego a Social Event Planning and Coordination Company. She is the Executive Director of Friends of Vista Hill, a local nonprofit. Rachel also teaches at SDSU in the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. In addition to being active professionally in the nonprofit sector, Rachel also is very involved personally with several charity organizations giving of her time, treasure and talent. Just to name a couple: The San Diego/Hawaii Chapter of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and The Thursday Club.
