The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe - Tuesday, April 13, 2010

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is just 25 minutes north of San Diego, hidden in the golden foothills of Old California. It is a place where time ceases to tick and begins to flow, where the San Diego weather does a perfect imitation of Eden, and where the natural beauty of the surroundings couldn't be more romantic. Welcome to The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.

Since its debut in 1924 as La Morada, "The home with many rooms," The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe has grown more storied, playing host to Presidents, Royalty and Hollywood's Elite.

Located just four miles inland from the Pacific, the romantic Spanish style property overlooks 23 pristine acres of rolling hills, bridle trails and winding pathways that inspire nature lovers, sunset lovers and romantics of all ages.

While the historic Main Building has kept its country inn living room and bar, The Inn's Dining Room has been handsomely updated. You can enjoy a light California Bistro menu in a relaxed, romantic courtyard or sample a European-inspired tasting menu that features delicacies from local harvests. You'll also want to savor Terrace dining with its sweeping view of The Village.

  MORNING EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR:
"Generations: The World in Which We Sell"

For years we have heard how different each generation is and how each wants to differentiate from the prior generation.  Each generation is influenced by different things, and understanding this is a key to communicating more effectively with each generation.  A person's decision on what to buy, from whom, when, and for how much are based on their personal influences... it doesn't matter if it's your clients, employees, children, or friends... in this presentation you will learn what motivates a "Baby Boomer", "Gen X-er", or "Millennial".  Discover how each generation is unique and what turns them ON or OFF!

LUNCHEON PROGRAM:
"Communicating Sales Success"

How do you present your services to your prospective clients?  What do you stay when you meet or speak with them?  How successful has it been for you?  In this presentation you will learn how each person prefers to receive their information, what is important to them, and why.  Discover what you are doing (and not doing) that is causing your prospective clients to say, "We'll get back to you." or "We just need to meet with a few more...", etc.  Discover words and actions that you should be using in different situations that will help you to develop rapport and trust more effectively, which will help you to create stronger and more successful relationships!

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

NACE is proud to give back to the community. We have chosen an organization called Second Chance, which assists men, women and youth who need a second chance in life. They provide a two year program that helps with job readiness and attitude training, job placement, affordable housing, counseling and support services. They need clothing items for their job interview and to wear for their new employment. As you do your spring cleaning, go through your closets and donate any of your business attire to the Second Chance Program.  We will be collecting your items at the April 13th daytime meeting at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, so bring your items in a plastic bag. Thank you so much.
