Bring an unwraped toy to donate to:

Make a child’s world a little brighter at this magical time of year by donating a wrapped toy for children from newborn to age 12 who are less fortunate. Although it is easy to buy for the little ones, the older children tend not to get as many presents so, for those who would like to buy for the older ones, here are some ideas:

Sporting equipment/bags/balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch, wallet, gift sets, bath sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards, helmets, curling irons, hair dryers, etc.

Annual San Diego Food Bank Volunteer Night

San Diego NACE & San Diego ILEA will be joining forces Thursday, February 22nd 5:45 – 8:00PM to volunteer at the San Diego Food Bank. There are 467,000 people living in poverty in San Diego. The Food Bank is vital to providing food to them. We can help them out by doing various duties from packing food to assembling and tearing down boxes or sorting food.

This is a fun event, working with each other as a group for a common goal of helping brings such a rewarding feeling. You may bring friends and make it more fun. No open-toed shoes allowed. There is a limited amount allowed to attend, so sign up soon.
